Contact us Section is not editable

Hey,

After I update the Illdy theme, the Contact Us section becomes not editable. If I won’t update the theme, then it works fine. Picture attached, that the contact us section is not populating with fields to edit the content.

The first time I updated all the plugins and update the theme and the error occurred. I then looked up this forum and someone had the similar issue earlier. So I deleted the theme and did everything over again, but didn’t update the theme itself. Then the contact us worked, but would love to keep the theme up to date with the most recent version.

Hope you are having a good day and thank you for your question :slight_smile:

  1. Make sure you also updated illdy companion plugin, if this not helped then >
  2. Please deactivate all third party plugins and try again your problem, most probably this I conflict with third-party plugins. Once you deactivate all plugins please check your problem again, if the problem is gone then this means it was a plugin conflict. Now, start activating plugins one by one and same time repeat your problem until your problem appears again, now you know which plugin was in conflict

Hi,

I only have one plugin enabled: the Illdy companion plugin. I have updated my WP to the most recent version today (4.9.6). I cannot edit the contact details. It does not show anything in the sidebar, besides the two tab headings General and Details. The tab panels themselves are empty. Also, PHP does not generate errors in the error log. Can you help?

hi phkemper Please use this plugin to create temporary access for us, its automatic login link and does not requires sharing your admin details. here is How To guide. at the and don’t forget about  “Set as private reply” at the bottom of the message box

Hey there

I just edited contact us section without any problem, you can see text added by me in the section, i was able to see all fields of the contact form,
can you please try use incognito tab of your chrome browser?
