Counter widget not showing in the website

After I changed the default text in the counter widget or section,its not showing up in the website.I can edit the counter widget in the wordpress customization panel,but nothing is showing up in the website,just a blank white space is there.Please respond as soon as possible on this.Attached is the screenshot of the website

It only changes the font color,what about the background color of the counter?Can I add an image or a background color to the counter?

yes, you can use this code to add color to counter BG:

}

The counter bg color is not changing. I added that code and tried different colours also .Nothings changing.Can you please help me with this
