Custom Sidebar for Shop

Hi Support Team,

is it possible to have a different sidebar on shop pages? It seems not to be an out of the box functionality of the sparkling theme. However there is a wordpress plugin called Custom Sidebars (Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Sidebar Widget Area Manager – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org). I tried it but it is not working with the sparkling theme. The plugin faq says (Custom Sidebars – Dynamic Sidebar Widget Area Manager – WordPress plugin | WordPress.org):

Everything is working properly on Admin area, but the custom sidebars are not displayed on the site. Why? You are probably using a theme that doesn't load dynamic sidebars properly or doesn't use the wp_head() function in its header. The plugin replaces the sidebars inside that function, and many other plugins hook there, so it is more than recommended to use it.

Can you confirm this?

What would you suggest to have custom sidebars with the sparkling theme?

Hi,

well, after further inspection I can say that the Custom Sidebars plugin is working with sparkling theme. Everything is sweet now. Topic can be closed.
