Hi
I am looking for a way to show and hide certain widgets on specific pages as per the trevelfiy theme which I previously used. There does not appear to be the same option in Shapely with the result that all sidebar widgets appear on all post pages.

Unfortunately, that feature isn’t available in Shapely. The best I can do currently is to advise you to log this as a feature request in the Feature Requests thread here:
