Display Glitch - Header & Sidebar + related child theme question

Sorry is this is a double up - strange error occurred when I submitted.

Hi

I’ve got a strange sidebar and header glitch that appears in Firefox (well at least on a Mac) and yet not in other browsers I’ve seen so far. Seen in this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/8DoQlSg1eQK5

2 Things -

  1. I’m looking to fix the issue and thought maybe reinstalling everything might work but not sure best way forward to keep formatting. No edits have been made in the files.

  2. Since I’m looking to fix the glitch and then prepare for fixes and potential theme edits - what’s best as far as installing the child theme? Just install and activate . . . and then leave all alone until edits need to be made or move files now?

Thank you and love the theme and great documentation too!

Corey

Hi Corey,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

I visited your site and found you are using the “Kleo Child” which is not a child theme of Sparkling theme.

Please advise.

Yes you are right just install and activate the child theme and then leave all alone until edits need to be made. Do not move files from parent theme in to child theme until you want to edit them.

You can find more information about child theme on the following page.
