Duplicating Home Page Widget set up

Hi,

I want all my pages to contain the widgets as in the home page.
However, although I set up a separate template, I cannot edit the pages independently.

How can I duplicate the Home Page widget set up and rename it so I can have individual set ups on my pages?

I tried that and the sidebar option works but nothing gets displayed on the template page.
Thoughts?

Have you set the new template to that page and added the code in the template file to display the widgets?

Please tell me in detail what you have done till now to achieve this.
