Edit primary and secondary column width

Hi,

I saw this thread, which helped a bit, but I request further assistance.

This is how my site currently is:

This is how I would like it to look:

The differences are that the primary column becomes wider and the secondary column becomes less wide. On the thread I mentioned above, it shows how to edit the ratio, but the distance between the columns does not seem to be editable. How can I edit the distance between?

I see that you have already completely changed theme layout and made sidebar completely narrow. Do still need to reduce the gap between sidebar and main content area?
