ElaAdmin Template not working correctly in Internet Explorer

Hello,

I’ve recently downloaded a template called Ela Admin.
It’s under this repository: https://github.com/puikinsh/ElaAdmin
The template is great, I really liked it, but it seams that it breaks when opened in Internet Explorer.
The menu is not working correctly when I try to collapse it and there is a weird flickering in the content. I’ve attached a screenshot. There is no problem in other browsers only in IE(I tested it with IE11).

I’m really looking forward to using the template but if there is problem even with the latest version of IE I can’t overlook it.

Is this a known issue? Can I get a patch or something? Should I try to contact Aigars Silkalns a.k.a puikinshfor - the owner of the repository?
What can be done?

This does seem like a bug in the template since I am seeing them on my end also. I have notified the developer of the issue so that he can have a look into it.
