error "Call to undefined function"

Hi
I’ve just installed Pixova lite on my wordpress site. I’m getting the following error in the customisation area, and I’m not seeing any options for customising the site.

“Fatal error: Call to undefined function the_custom_header_markup() in /var/sites/e/expodo.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/pixova-lite/sections/section-intro.php on line 31”

Can anyone help me with this?

Please ensure that you have installed the new version of WordPress as it may be an outdated WordPress version causing this.
