I’ve been passed a website to look at for a friend. I’m finding some options however are just not working. Would you be able to either take a look or suggest a fix? It looks to me like the font-awesome and dashicons css does not exist or is not being loaded correctly.

As you can see, the slider is supposed to be showing < and > as clickable buttons to scroll through. However, it’s being displayed as <i class=’fa fa-angle-left’></i> and <i class=’fa fa-angle-right’></i>.
The other issue I am having is that the icons underneath the slider do not appear to be working either. When I select the icon from the theme customizing options, nothing appears.
Please let me know what you suggest.
I’ve temporarily removed the slider as the client wished until it was fixed. I’ve attached an image so you can see what the error was.
