Fatal Error: Uncaught Error

I’m getting this error when I try to update the theme:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Customize_Panel’ not found in ***/class-pixova-custom-panel.php on line 12

The error shows a stack trace too. Please advise.

What is the version of the theme? WordPress and version of PHP?
