Before the update, Movin helped me to get all the figured images to 1280*720 (https://colorlibsupport.com/t/feature-image-size-3/) with some extra php code and plugin regenerate thumbnail did the rest. It worked beautifully.
After the theme update, the newest post went back to original featured image size… I can see in the forum many people experience this. I followed the solutions provided in https://colorlibsupport.com/t/feature-image-size-3/ It did not work, and the force regenerate plugin just made everything worse! All my previous post that was 1280*720 back to whatever the original featured image size. Very very frustrating… please help.
The force regenerate thumbnail does not work. As you can see in the attachment, it says deleted 1280*720 which is the opposite what I want. You helped me with some custom codes before to get all front page image to that size or maintain that ratio. I deleted cache and it still look cropped and strange as you can see in the attachment 2.
This issue has been posted in the GitHub and it seems the user in question here has come to a solution. Kindly have a look and see if the solution works for you:
