Featured image auto crop

Hello!

I’ve read several forums but I can’t seem to find a suitable fix.

When uploading a “featured image,” everything goes well, and I’m able to see the full photo while viewing my draft post.

However, when publishing the post, it always crops the featured image automatically. I have deselected the “crop thumbnail” setting and set the height to 9999, as suggested in other forums, but nothing’s worked thus far.

I don’t have a problem with any of my other images, just the featured image.

Thanks SO much. That was a perfect fix!

I installed both plugins as you advised, and ran the “regenerate thumbnails” action on all my featured images, and it worked without any hassles.
