Featured image doesn't show in the blog, only dummy picture, cache problem or settings issue?

I set up a featured image in a single blog, and I set my blog settings to: big image and raster.

Template : Wide.

Unfortunately always the dummy pic appeares first, and only after a click or tap(on the mobile phone), the featured image appeares. I need Jetpack to be active for my widgets on Shapely. So how can I solve this conflict / issue?

I checked the Inspector, it shows: img class="wp-post-image" src = "…/placeholder_wide.jpg"

I switched between Blog Templates “Wide“ and “No Sidebar“, I watched the result on all browsers and devices: there were no differences and placeholder_wide.jpg persists.

Is it an annoying cache problem or a bug somewhere in the settings?

Thank you for your help!

If your featured image isn’t showing and only a dummy picture appears, it’s likely due to cache or theme settings. Try clearing your cache, checking theme options, and ensuring the image is properly uploaded. If you use optimization tools, purge cache or regenerate thumbnails. Keeping your site optimized ensures better display and smoother user experience—especially for blogs linked with WhatsApp Plus mod APK and social content.
