Looking for help!
My featured image size is still messed up since the update. I have this code in a plugin in my site with the code
add_image_size( ‘activello-featured’, 1080, 1350, true );
add_action( ‘init’, ‘modify_featured_image_size’, 10 );
in it, but it isn’t working. I’ve also edited my Theme Functions php with the desired featured image size, regenerated my thumbnails and everything – to no avail. If someone could walk me through an easy way to resolve this, I would appreciate it.
Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.
Could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?
I visited your shared site and it seems you are using Jetpack plugin on your site so could you please try temporary deactivating its Photon module on your site?
This jetpack photon module is not updating the images stored on wp.com so to resolve the issue either disable this module or update the images on wp.com by contacting jetpack support team.
I also still have that issue: www.karolinemohren.de
I’ve tried any hacks mentioned in the other thread about this topic - nothing helps. Still waiting for a helpful advice or a plugin or whatever.
Thanks and greetings!
@gibsonlg Could you please share me the screenshot of your site Reading settings?
Also please use the custom plugin colorlib-divilab-plugin-113.zip shared in the following topic.
@Movin What do you mean exactly by reading settings? The settings shown for the uploaded files in filezilla? If so, for which files exactly?
I’ve downloaded and activated the custom plugin. Nothing changed.
Hi again Movin,
Sorry to reach out again in the same thread, but I disabled the photon, regenerated thumbnails, and still, nothing solved my image issue. I have since turned the photon back on.
The issue is fixed for other users by following steps properly so please do it again in the same sequence.
Disable the Jetpack photon module.
Use the custom plugin colorlib-divilab-plugin-113.zip shared in the following topic.
Then regenerate the thumbnails on your site using following plugin.
Alright, thanks Movin. I’ll give that a try.
Sure do let me know how is the output.
It worked beautifully!! Thank you, Movin!
