Featured images full width page size errors

A long title I know, but my problem is this. I use featured images on my pages, and for the pages which has a sidebar, it works fine. The problem arises when I try to use featured images on pages that are full width. The featured images are only shown with the same dimensions as the ones on the sidebar pages, which makes them too short to fill the full width page. Is there any solution to this, so that they display correctly on both kinds of pages.

You can try achieving this by using the attached small plugin specially developed for you that contains some custom code.

Also use the following plugin to regenerate thumbnails on your site.
