Fixing Pixelated Logo

Hi!

Thank you so much for developing this theme!

I’d like to fix my logo, at first it was too small, so based off another forum post, I added some Custom CSS to make the logo larger, which worked, but now my logo looks pixelated. The image itself is large enough to not have this outcome, I’m very new to CSS and wordpress so I’m not sure how to go about this on my own.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I removed the coming soon page, so you can view the site.

I had to remove the CSS that made the logo bigger because it was affecting the size of the images in blog posts as well. How do I make the logo larger without affecting anything else? Like I mentioned earlier, I’m very new to CSS.

Hi Laranz,

thanks for getting back to me. I’ve followed the instructions above and now my logo looks stretched out. How do I fix this?

Hi @adel,

Can you pass us the URL of the website?

Also, make sure you adjust the width and height in the CSS according to the width and height in the PHP.

Thanks,

Hi Laranz,

Yes, both heights and widths match.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi,

It looks good to me. http://take.ms/WbLHe

  1. Make sure you delete the logo and re-upload the logo.
  2. Disable Photon module in the JetPack if you activate it, https://jetpack.com/support/photon/

Hello there,

That website is using the Illdy theme and it appears the image you are using is too small so please try re-uploading the image with one of a higher resolution.

I have picture in 1920x1080, but it automaticaly crop/change dimensions of this image when I set this as a logo in general options. I need some way how to set non-croped image as a logo, then it can be bigger with good resolution.

Yes! Now it´s OK. Just edit header.php and change “img src” (overwrite by absolute address of original image)

Hello there,

Nice work solving the issue.

I would recommend that you make a backup of the theme before making change to the php template files.
Here is a plugin to use:

Also, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with regarding this issue, if not I would go ahead and close the thread.
