In this footer section (which I have another question to post about), it shows the bookmark links to the front page. #testimonials bookmarks to that section of the front page. I would like to add a new bookmark that will work the same by taking visitors to a part of the page that is not currently bookmarked.

I also accidentally removed my background image in the Footer section and don’t know how to get it back and still have the widgets visible on top.

I have found that I can change the color of the footer section. Is there a way to have a background picture there while still keeping the widgets on top?

Hello there,

You can use the following CSS code to add a background image by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and pasting it there.


/*Footer BG color and image*/
footer#footer {
    background-color: red;
    content: url(image.jpg);
}

You need to replace “image.jpg” with the url of an image in your media library.
