Full size header

Hello,

Thank you so much for awesome support all the way.
I now have a question regarding the header, it´s quite simple actually, how can I make the header fill the whole width and be dynamic, so that it changes with the viewing size.

I provided a screenshot of how it looks now on my page, but I want it to stretch all the way out to follow the menu bar, now it just looks stupid with having it placed just small like that in the screenshot. This happens no matter if I follow the themes recommended header size or not.
Would you please advise me on how to make that possible?

Also is it possible to make the header appear underneath the menu bar, like in the second provided screenshot. I know that this is the slider, but is it possible to get this result with the header?

Best regards
Orlando

Hi Orlando,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your questions.

It seems the screenshots that you wanted to share didn’t get uploaded due to the error “File exceeds allowed file size.” so could you please share it again and also share your site URL where you want to implement it so that i can help you?

Kind Regards,
Movin

Here they are again, sorry about that.

The first image is from my site, is how it looks.
The second image is how I want it to look.

Visit my site at www.owlando.com if you need, I have removed the header now since it did not look good at the way it was.

Best regards
Orlando

You can make the header full width by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of the latest version of Sparkling theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Sparkling Options -> Other -> Custom CSS

.navbar-default .container {
    width: 100%;
    padding: 0;
}
@media (min-width: 768px){
.navbar-default .navbar-collapse {
    width: 750px;
}
}
@media (min-width: 992px){
.navbar-default .navbar-collapse {
    width: 970px;
}
}

@media (min-width: 1200px){
.navbar-default .navbar-collapse {
    width: 1170px;
}
}
Also is it possible to make the header appear underneath the menu bar, like in the second provided screenshot. I know that this is the slider, but is it possible to get this result with the header?

Yes you can achieve this by developing custom code.

Developing custom code for custom functionality is beyond the scope of support that we provide here.
