This can happen when your FTP client, text editor places a random blank spaces inside the file because of format incapabilities.
Try editing you file locally and then upload them to your web hosting.
This happens and it’s completely random thing. For me it usually happens when I develop locally on Mac and then try to upload files to Linux server file on file bases. The best option is to upload everything as archive and then unarchive it.
