I just had my website moved and it isn’t live yet, so providing my url will lead you to the old website, but after installing the theme Activello everything was great. then I installed some plugins and tried to complete my new website and realized that the header - I have a slider - got smaller (the width is the same and great but the height came down and is now cutting off images very badly, looks more like a banner).
I have tried to work out what caused this change as at first all was perfect. I deleted some sidebar menu items because I wondered whether it was simply a space problem but that didn’t help either.
How can I restore the header to what it was when I first activated the theme?
I have tried to de-activate the theme and activate another, and then re-activate Activello…but nothing helps.
I am at my wits end and I want to resolve the issues before the website is ‘live’.
I am not an IT specialist so please, a step-by-step instruction would be much appreciated.

This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

First of all, thank you for the amazing template. Unfortunately I do have the same issue with the slider: I do not know how to tell the theme that all of the images used for the slider should have the same size. Sometimes it’s a banner-like size, sometimes it’s almost the full display. I have removed all of the plug ins but still do not see any changes. I have read multiple threads about the sizing for the banner image; however, nothing seems to be working for the site I am trying to get up and running (still a very long way from ready). I sized the image according the dimensions required, I added the css coding, etc. Perhaps I don’t have the proper plugin? I have attached an image of what my photo looks like for reference. Are you able to login to my site to see what I may be doing wrong? If so, I can provide the login credentials. The domain name is goingsomewear.com. Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
