Help with sizing image on a page

I need some assistance to size an image on a page.

I have added the image and set it to “full”, but when it displays on the page it has a max width of 730px. I want it full width. I “inspect” it and see the following greyed out, so it cannot be changed

img[Attributes Style] {
width: 730px;
height: 277px;
}
Inherited from div.entry-content

I cannot see how to over ride this css. You assistance is appreciated.

Thanks
Kerry

Hi Kerry,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

Could you please share me the page URL from your site where it is displaying so that i can help you to resize it?

Kind Regards,
Movin

Hi Movin

All good this end, hope you are also.

The url is http://earthstar-creations.com/meditation/

I am trying to make the image full size

Thanks for your help
Kerry

I visited your shared site and found the image that you have set for that page is not full width as displayed here http://i2.wp.com/earthstar-creations.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/landscape-1158269_1280.jpg?resize=730%2C276

You should set large image for that page on your site so that it will occupy whole width.

If you are setting large image for the page but the image is displaying small on that page then it seems this is happening because of the Jetpack plugin Photon module that you are using on your site so could you please try temporary deactivating it or its Photon module on your site?

This jetpack photon module is not updating the images stored on wp.com so to resolve the issue either disable this module or update the images on wp.com by contacting jetpack support team.

Thanks Movin,

it was full size, but is was Photon module causing the issue.

Many thanks for your help.

Regards
Kerry

You are most welcome here :slight_smile:
