I’m developing a site for a client of mine, who choose this theme to support their business. There are two issues I’m running into that I can’t fix.
1.) I found a fix online that pushed the images to the top of the page, which before it was not. I thought the issue was fixed until I reviewed it on an Android and iPhone. Currently, the main image slider on a mobile and tablet are pushed really far down vs being at the top.
2.) They would love to be able to remove the “Powered by WordPress” and “theme by Colorlib” a long the footer.

It seems it is not working on your client site because on that site the default theme slider is replaced with js composer carousel plugin slider so please contact that plugin author regarding this.
2.) They would love to be able to remove the “Powered by WordPress” and “theme by Colorlib” a long the footer.
You can try achieving this by developing the custom solution by referring the solutions posted in the following topics.
