Home page not working

I just found that my static home (front) page is no longer showing the Featured Slider or the page text, widgets and footer. All that shows is the Header and Top Menu. The rest is blank.

The text is still available for editing, but when I select View Page it doesn’t show.

I’ve been using Travelify since 2018 and have had no problems with it. Everything was working fine the last time I updated the site (months ago). There has been at least one automatic WordPress update since then.

I can’t find anything wrong with the Page settings or with the settings for the Featured Slider. All other pages and posts are working fine.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Is this a defect? Has anyone else had any problems with the Travelify featured slider?

Could there be some incompatibility with WordPress 6.6.2. I tried downgrading PHP to the prior three releases but it made no difference. I haven’t found a way to downgrade WordPress.

Sorry about that, can you please check for plugin conflicts? To test for a plugin conflict, deactivate all third-party plugins and check if the problem persists. If the issue is resolved, you can identify the culprit by reactivating the plugins one by one.

Thanks for the response and suggestion. It looks like the Presto Player video player is causing the problem. When I disable it, the slider and the rest of the page works fine. Interestingly, I only use that plugin on a different page. I’ve submitted a support ticket to Presto Player, but I’m using a free version so I’m not optimistic. Short of finding a different video player, is there anything you can suggest?

Ok, got it, let me know what PrestoPlayer support says about this, such things needs to be investigated, lets wait for their support.
