How do I resize the image from my front-page parallax widget?

Hello! My site is anaishimoto.com

I’d like to reduce the size of my image from my parallax widget and also reduce the length of it. I’ve tried to resize the image in pixels but it’d only look less defined and keep its diameters. The image and also the widget are taking too much space.

Can someone help me?

First of all, this image is very tall and is not the best for this case,
You can use this custom CSS code to change size of the image container:

#shapely_home_parallax-4 .col-md-7 {
width: 50%;
}

Code can be added in the Appearance > customize > additional css
