How to enable Excerpt for WordPress theme?

there’s no excerpt field… help?

If you mean that there is no excerpt field when editing post then you can enable it.

  • Inside WordPress dashboard open any Post or Add New.
  • Inside Post Editor screen you will see a tiny “Screen Options” on the upper right corner.
  • When clicking on “Screen Options” you will notice several options just check “Excerpt”
  • Close “Screen Options”
