How to make primary category show up

If you look at my blog http://apinchofaustria.com and view the category that is displayed it is always “2017”, however I would like to make it either travel, life, DIY or recipes to match my menu selections above. How do I accomplish this?

Hi Movin, I somehow messed up the code and cant get it back to the original and now I just keep getting errror messages. Can you send me the entire activello theme functions.php file so i can correct the issue?

Hi movin, unfortunately I am still getting the same error message for line 286. is there another way I can fix the problem?

To resolve the issue, just delete the theme on your site and reinstall it.
