Huge Bug

Shapely Theme has a huge bug! After loading and Scrolling down, first section (shapely_home_parallax-6) moves downwards and clips second section (shapely_home_parallax-7) and pushes all the following sections (widgets) on Front Page. too bad but theme shapely is unusable…

Hi @webgecko,

Sorry to hear of the problem you are having.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Shapely theme.

Is it happening for you on our following demo site also?

https://colorlib.com/shapely/

Could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

Kind Regards,
Movin

Hi Movin

the bug appears after installing your original demo content:
http://tests.webgecko.ch/euro-netto/

Let me explain:
wait while the website has completely loaded the contents, then scroll slowly downwards,
the second section gets clipped by the top section by overflow, also the parallax section with
background picture gets pushed downwards.

Sometimes, and after reloading the page, the top section “jumps” in the right position.
But not always. and: the second section has no class defined.

See attached pictures :wink:

I couldn’t confirm this issue on our demo site.

I tried to access your shared site to see the issue but it is displaying the error message “This site can’t be reached”

Please advise.

and: the second section has no class defined.

The class is only assigned when it is necessary and in the first section it is not necessary.

Hello i faced. Similar issue…when viewing widgets on homepage…
There is lot of gap. …and some of the widget does not even display
Thanks please resolve issue

I could access your site from another ISP.

You can try resolving this issue by adding the following CSS code in the Custom CSS option of your theme on the below path.

Admin Area -> Appearance -> Customize -> Shapely Options -> Other

#shapely_home_parallax-7 {
    background-color: #fff;
}

Hi Movin

this is it, works fine now [SOLVED]
:wink:

You are most welcome here :slight_smile:

Hello, I have the same problem but the code doesn’t seem to solve anything… Any idea how else could it come from?
My website is not live yet
Many thanks!

I did like this:

#shapely_home_parallax-7 {
background-color: #fff;
}

Unfortunately it only works for the second section (SEO friendly), there is still a space between [Portfolio Section] and [Small Parallax Section]. some overflow issue?

@juliendp To help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/shapely/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.

@webgecko I tried to access your shared site to see the issue but i am getting the error “This site can’t be reached”.

Please advise.

Hello, I get it @Movin.
I decided to change the theme because it seems there are several bugs I don’t want them to appear on my website.
Thank you!

Hi folks

Here again: http://tests.webgecko.ch/euro-netto/
orig. shapely theme fresh installed, no changes, no edits.

the issue appears, when loading completely without scrolling down.
if you scroll a little bit and refresh (CTR-R), everything fits perfect :wink:

I guess, there must be something wrong with:

.cover:first-child .fullscreen {
max-height: 100%;
}

or

.fullscreen {
height: 100vh;
}

No idea…

@juliendp You are always welcome here :slight_smile:

You can also use latest version of Shapely theme by downloading it from the following page where we have fixed the theme issues.

You can also try using our another similar theme Illdy - Free One Page WordPress Business Theme - Colorlib

Still the same issues with the newest shapely theme…

@webgecko I could confirm the issue on my your site therefore i have notified the theme developer about this on the following page so that it can be fixed.

This is happening because initially when the site loads at that time the images loading take more time than the content causing this issue so you can optimise your site as described on the following pages to load these images fast.
