Hello,
I updated few days ago the new version of WP since then, illdy companion is nowhere to be found, I cant change the jumbotron front page for example.
How can I fix this issue, knowing that I have no knowledge in coding (sorry).

I hope you are doing well today.
Please Clear your WordPress cache with the following plugin:
After doing that please go to the WordPress admin panel > Plugins and look for the companion plugin and activate it, if it is not there then go to Appearance > About Illdy and reinstall the plugin from there.

I did everything you said, but still the jumbotron home page doesnt appear but the illdy companion’s plugin is activated.
When you mean reinstall the plugin you mean "companion " ? I did it, but still nothing change 
I have the same problem.

Well, it’s bit disapppointing.
I was to the point to launch my website on thursday. I need to start all over again with another theme…
Many people seems to have the same problem but the only way to fix it , is to put hands on code which i wont do.
this is exhausting…
