image gallery on frontpage to be fullwidth

Hello,

instead of project, i would like to use the image gallery linked to carousel. but i am having a hard time figuring out what css i have to change so that the gallery would expand to full width. Right now its like 20-30% of the page and i cant figure out what css i have to change. Can someone please point me into the right direction?

As you see in the photo, the sectioni above my gallery is full width, but the thumbnails are all in like 20% - 30% of the page width.

i managed to do that with this

and than i entered the value of 1980px.
