How do you create a “home” button at top of menu linking back to home page?

If you haven’t already, I recommend reading the documentation on the theme, which shows you how to get everything set up, including how to work the slider: Activello Theme Documentation - Colorlib
In regards to setting up a home button, in the Menu Section of the theme, Add the page that you have set up for your static front page
