including custom widgets in the menu

I feel really stupid that I can’t figure out how to rename custom widgets and/or include them in the menu. I have a widget that I added so I could include an Aweber email sign up on the home page. The section is called “Waiting List” but the menu won’t direct there. Within Illdy the section is referred to as “Full Width Section”.

How do I get the menu to direct to custom widgets that didn’t come with the original theme? Thank you so much for your help with this!

Yes indeed, third-party widgets will not have options to add IDs to point them from the menu, please check if your widget is available as a shortcode, if yes then you can paste it in the text widget or include in other existing widgets which supports text block
