Inseart "Read More" Button in each Post

Hi,

I want to add the “Read More” Button in all the Posts from Home.
Right now I use the “Insert Read More tag” , but this option just makes the text excerpt it doesn’t include any button for directing the reader to press it and see all the post.
The only way to read this article is by pressing the title of the post, which is very not "friendly " and not “intuitive”.
The same must be available when pressing a category or menu option and there are more posts presented. These must include the “Read More” tag.

Thanks for the link.
I used the code from that thread and pls see the following issues :

  1. First issue :
    When in Home you hover the mouse over the “Read More” button the button gets bigger. This is not a usual thing.
  2. Second Issue :
    I want the same “Read More” button, not only in Home, but also if you select a category and there are more posts there.

Hi again,

One more comment to my previous email:
When you press the “Read More” button, this takes you to the end of the article. This is strange.
It should take you at the beginning.
Can you do this?

I’m having the same problem with the “Read More” button. I am installing a new site the latest version of sparkling. The funny thing is that the same version is in use on another site I have. I’m using posts on a page named “Blog” with the wordpress setting to display short text, however the whole articles appear without the “Read More” button. I have tried to use what is described above in the proposed solutions, but I have not had any results.

“Read More” button does not appear and the article content appears entire in the article listing.

If anyone can help me, I’m very grateful!

Hello, how are you? I found the solution going in :: Appearance => Customize => Sparkling Options => Content Options => Leave checked “Show excerpts from Posts”
