Installing Google Adsense Units On Sparkling Theme

Hi,

1.) I want to install a 728x90 Google Adsense banner above the first image on the home page, as well as above the image on ALL POSTS.

2.) I also want to install text link ad-units below the date and author for all posts.

Can you please advise how to install these with the Sparkling theme?
