Is there any way for Activello to work with Jetpack's Photon feature?

I know Jetpack is constantly cited as the reason that the Activello main page slider images don’t always look full-width. But I’m really conflicted right now, because if I turn Photon off, I gain a working slider, but lose really innovative gallery functionality that’s essential for a photo-heavy travel blog like mine. If I turn Photon on, I gain super cool galleries and a slider that looks iffy, at best.

Since all of my images are the right size, and all my thumbnails have been regenerated, is there any way now or in the near future that there might be improved compatibility between this great plugin and the Activello theme?? It would be wonderful not to have to sacrifice one feature for another! :slight_smile:
