Jumbotron picture out of proportion - too large

Hi,

The pictures I load in the Jumbotron area are showing up too large. I’ve tested 1920x1080 and lower to 800x500 and they are still showing up so large I have to zoom out to 50% to see it. The rest of the site is normal sized. It was working fine before but then started when I tried to change the jumbotron picture.

What sizes are ideal for jumbotron?

I noticed someone else had the same problem. (https://colorlibsupport.com/t/front-page-picture/) It looked like for her it was a logo conflict and she was given a code .custom-logo { width: 100%; height: auto; } which I tried and didn’t work.

Hi @lisa1,

I just login and it seems that the jumbotron image is showing good. Did you solved it in meantime?

Thanks,

Cristian

Hi Cristian,

Actually I don’t know what I did differently, other than trying to reload the picture again as I did many times before a few days later. But it almost fixed it. However the whole picture still doesn’t show as it is supposed to show when I upload it. As you can see, the credit to the artist on the lower right is missing and it is at 1839x942. Shouldn’t the whole picture show up with that size? It shows up completely in the customize>jumbotron thumbnail area, just not on the home page.

Could you take a look at why keeps enlarging the photo?

Thanks,
Lisa
