link to skype call in widget

Hi

I would like to link to make a skype call in the buttons in the paralax widget.

I triedthe following link: skype:username?call but this one does not work in the widget, since it disappears when I click save.

Hi Luuk,

I hope you are well today and thank you for your question.

I have tested it on my test site and it’s working fine for me using latest version of Shapely theme as displayed in the attached screenshot.

Could you please try using that syntax as shown in the attached screenshot?

Yes, I did this and I have the latest version of shapely.

When I click save, the skype call link in the “button link 2” box just disappears. The first box does not work either with the skype link.

This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

If it is not plugin conflict on your site then please try using latest updated version of Shapely theme by downloading it from the following page.

Problem resolved.

It was the google analytics plug in or the yoast plug in (which needed an update…
