Lost Page content on home page

Hi,

I’m not sure when it happened but the home page contents is missing on my site.

I have a “FrontPage” page which uses the “Home Page” template and has no parent page set. It’s permalink is the root domain of my site. When viewing the Pages listing in the wp-admin it is labeled as “FrontPage — Front Page” so I’m assuming the template is being applied correctly.

My Homepage Settings is set to “A static page” and Homepage is set to “FrontPage”

I have removed, re-added and reordered the [Shapely] Page content from the home page widgets.

The page content is not visible on the home page, in fact if i inspect the html on the page there is a div for the page content put it is empty.

So, what is displayed on your homepage now? I can see lot of content and they are from the theme widgets

I create a new page called “Welcome” and the only content on it is the word “Welcome” to make it simple.
I set it as the Homepage under Homepage Settings.

I moved the [Shapely] Page Content widget so it is first on the list of the Homepage widgets.
Now the first thing I expect to see on the site is “Welcome” but instead I currently see “Who Are we?” which is a [Shapely] Parallax Section For Front Page widget that is the second widget on the Homepage.

Hi,
I created a staging site to try and trouble shoot but still have the same issue

I removed almost all the content and custom css and only left the one [Shapely] Page Content widget.

Still I don’t see “Welcome” anywhere even if I view source

Any ideas?

Sorry I didn’t quite understand. By access details do you want credentials to edit or just the web address?

Hi there

I just played with the website and everything seems to be working normally for me, you can see i added some widgets on the homepage and they are working as expected, I really can’t see any problem with this… Did I miss something?

Hi Noda,

The issue is specifically with the [Shapely] Page content and [Shapely] Page Title widgets.
All other [Shapely] widgets are working.

It used to render the content that was on the page which was designated as “Front Page” within the [Shapely] Page content widget.

Now the content is not shown when the widget is used.

The staging site as you left it does not include a [Shapely] Page content widget though.
