Menu and Search Bar in main navigation

I got two issues:

First; My menu including their dropdowns should be on the right. I thought I coded them correct, but they do not move at all. Which is a mistery to me.

Second: the search function should also be on the very right of the main navigation. I red a few entries here about this topic but I am unsure where to implement the snippets of code in my backend. Styles.css? I tried a few times but the search bar seemed to randomly appear and disappear and also be stuck in the middle of the navigation. Can you please explain it to me again?

You can use the provided CSS code by adding it in the style.css file of your child theme or add it in your site using the following plugin.
