menu only showing primary category

Hey everyone,

I just installed the theme and like it a lot. My only problem now is that the menu bar only shows the primary menu, none of the others. No idea why, anyone know what could have happened?

I am not sure what you meant by “the menu bar only shows the primary menu” so could you please describe it a bit more in detail?

Also could you please share me your site URL where it’s happening so that i can troubleshoot it?

I mean that I have several pages that are parent pages which, to my understanding, should show in the menu bar at the top after adding them in the menu section under customization. But they don’t. Doesn’t matter what I set them up as or what I allow or not allow, only the one I set as “primary menu” shows. If I don’t choose a primary menu, none show.

I hope that explains it more? I added two pictures, too.

You are looking the pages in the wrong location.

What you are seeing in your second shared screenshot is a list of menus. To add pages to the menus just click on any menu then you will see Add Items button as shown in the attached screenshot clicking on it you can add pages to the menu.

I must be incredibly dense, I am very sorry. I’ve been away from working with WP for a few years and some of the new features obviously still confound me.

To my understanding, I did add the menus the way your screenshot shows (attachment 1). I added some test menus just to try and yet, it still says “add a menu” (attachment 2). If I click it, I end up on the screen you can see in attachment 3. I am probably missing something incredibly obvious …
