Mobile nav not closing automatically for anchor links

When an anchor link is clicked on the mobile menu, the page navigates to the correct anchor location but the menu does not close. The only way to close the menu is to click on the Hamburger Icon.

Thank you very much, but I don’t think that’s normal. When I remove the anchor links from the menu, it automatically collapses, so it has something to do with the anchor links and that is not normal working behavior? Especially since the topic has been mentioned here several times, but there doesn’t seem to be a solution? Why doesn’t it work with anchor links?

I apologize if my previous message was unclear. I wanted to explain that the current coding is set up that way from the start, and unfortunately, we are unable to customize the template to change this behavior at the moment. If this feature is important to you, you can consider using third-party WordPress menus. Many of our users find the WordPress Mobile Menu plugin for this.
