Montana - Missing style.css

We purchased Montana template but it gives error during installation: Template cannot be installed because of lack of style.css file.

i read a previous problem int he forum but did not tell us how to convert so we can use the template in our wordpress.

Please explain this process

Thank you for choosing our template. The issue is that it is an HTML template, and you may be trying to install it in WordPress as a theme. This is not possible as HTML templates do not require WordPress and can be directly uploaded to the hosting without any CMS.

as this is a HTML format, this requires us to be able to code in HTML correct?

We are going through bluehost which was recommended by Colorlib as the best hosting company to use. How do we load directly to hosting ?

Yes, thats true, you can simply upload html files into the root directory of your domain, take a look here:

are all colorlib templates HTML and CSS ?
if not how do we find the information on the template that tell us that if it can be loaded to WP and edited that way

Yes, certainly, it’s a website template. This includes HTML, CSS, and JS. We do not offer WordPress themes for sale, we only provide free WordPress themes.
