Need help adding submenu

I recently bought this theme

But I am having trouble adding a hoverable sub menu for the nav. I am planning to add categorization on my site which uses this template.

I only need a sample how to implement a sub menu which is hoverable and of course also responsive.

Could you guys help me with this? Thanks!
