Need to set up the menu so that it can reach different sections of the HomePage

Hello,
I am trying to get the menu pointing to different sections of the homepage but it does not seem to be working.
It seems that the titles in the different sections Title in the FrontPage Sections do not get linked to the menu…
any idea?

I did check FAQ and saw what below described however what recommended there is not working.
Maybe things have changed and this is an old post.

  1. How do I set up the menu?
    First of all, you need to create your own menu in Appearance -> Menu.
    There, use custom links. Each page section has its own link as written below.

./#about
./#projects
./#testimonials
./#services
./#latest-news
./#counter
./#team
./#contact-us

Of course, you need to replace dot with name of your webpage. When you are done, save the menu.
Now you need to add this menu to your illdy page, which can be done in Appearance -> Customize. There, in Illdy’s customization menu, click on “Menu”, remove the old one and add your own. (answer courtesy to @pa3kson)

Strangely enough the menu I created in the dashboard was not visible in the liidly’s menu customization page, so I had to recreate it again…
Even then it does not see the sections, no idea why…

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Please check your website now and check “programas” menu element, i jut pointed it to projects section, you can use this method to point other sections as well, basically you have to add names of sections in the menu link, not full link including www.sitename.com etc, just a ID of the section, like this #projects in your case

It seems to be working, The only caution I have to use is that I need to write it lower case

I only see some issues with the following sections, they are not working:
Home: I have tried putting Jumbotron but it is not working.
Latest News (In my menu Ultimas Noticias)…
Contact us (In my menu Contacta Con Nosotros)
Counter (In my menu Contadores)
Full Width Section (Actually I do not even know what that is for)

Hello there,

It needs to be in lowercase because it is case sensitive and if you change the cases then the menu item will not work.

they have two words, it seems not to understand it…
also how do set up the link to go up to the top?

I think I found the solution with the debugger tool, need to put an hyphen!
