Hi,
i got a serious problem with a fresh installation of wp 4.6.1 and current sparkling theme. The problem was just that serious, that i tried a fresh installation on my host. Still, even after a clean install it still exists.
It is very simple: i can’t see the “Read more” button for posts. They get truncated as expected after the <!–more–> tag and when clicking the headline one can read it with everything shown. However, this very theme doesnt show the button for it. I tried both options in the settings/reading section (using german version but it should be show newsfeed as: full text; abstract in english … or similar). Still no change.
And the REALLY odd thing is, that i can see the button if i go to design/customize. But only in this administration mode. After that its gone again. AND just in this case the truncate is at a wrong position, but i would rather have it truncated at an automated/random postion than dont have it at all.
Where is the problem? Any help??
