override 'breakpoints' at 992px

Hi, I would ike to have the layout etc responsive up to a width of 992px, then stay looking as it does at 991px no matter how did ethe window is made.

The site I have in Shapely works well dn looks goo din mobile, tablet and desktop up to 991px, then after that som elements get shifted to the right with extra white space and are no longer visually pleasing on the screen.

I can see many places in the bootstrap.css that has the media query, but is there something simple that can be changed in custom CSS?
