Page Cannot be Found When Importing

Trying to import the content from the xml file provided and it thinks for a while and then ends with a Page Cannot be Found error. It appears that none of the content was actually imported. Thanks!

Hi @dgadoury,

I hope you are well today and thanks for posting here.

Could you please share me the page URL from where you have taken XML file so that i can troubleshoot it?

Kind Regards,
Movin

I got the xml file from the link:

https://colorlib.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/shapely-demo-content.zip

Thanks.

The shared XML file is getting imported on my test site.

Could you please share me the screenshot of page where you are getting error to import this XML file?

Thanks. Here is the screenshot.

I had the same Page Not Found issue. Started poking around, uploaded a new image to Appearance > Widgets > Homepage and all of a sudden the demo template came up with the correct look except for my one new image where I had uploaded it. See the screenshot for where I uploaded the image.

Nice template. Thanks Aiger!

Alan

@dgadoury

This can be due to plugin conflict on your site so please try temporary deactivating all plugins and see whether everything works fine and then enable the plugins one by one to see which plugin is conflicting if any.

If you still face the issue then would you mind if i log in to your site and do some troubleshooting? If this is ok then could you please share me your site log in details privately by checking the option “Set as private reply” when replying to this topic?

@alanc To help us keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://colorlibsupport.com/c/shapely/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read.

If you want to you can also add reference of this thread in your newly created thread.

We would be more than happy to help you on your new thread.

I disabled all plugins and no change.

I logged in to your site using shared credentials and imported the demo content.

Could you please check it now?

Looks great! Thanks for the help.

You are most welcome here
