Is there a plugin Colorlib recommends for creating video popups?
I’ve tried using some of the more popular video popup plugins available on WP but the shapely parallax buttons disappear when using their plugin bracketed shortcodes in the link box, for example; [wp-video-popup vimeo=“1” video=“link-to-your-vimeo-video”]
I understand direct URL’s to my video hosting site will work but I don’t want visitors leaving the shapely site, so video pop-up is preferred.

You don’t need an only video popup plugin, any popup plugin will solve your problem by inserting video iframe or URL in the good popup plugin, try this 2 plugins:

Thanks for the response. However I don’t think those plugins will fix my issue.
My issue is I specifically would like to add a popup video to the Shapely theme “Button 1 Link” box - [see attached image 1.] I don’t want the popup to occur on it’s own page or on a new widget. I want the popup to happen after a user clicks the link box found in your Shapely parallax section.
When I enter the popup shortcodes in the Shapely box they either disappear [See image 2]
Or it leads me to a blank/blocked [See image 3 and Image 4]
I am new so perhaps what I’m asking for is more advanced but if you had a tutorial on how to add these and other modification types to your theme that would help.

Well, in this case without template modification you cant achieve your goal, shortcodes will not work in that place because they are sanitized by the theme script and there is no option to disable it 
Yeah no problem. Great starter theme that looks and feels way more polished than a newbie like me deserves. I’ll continue to use Shapely but with external video links.
