I have Shapely as my wordpress theme, and it shows my “background Image” (parallax image from Shapely Widget) sometimes, but in general it doesn’t shows it.

Please try disabling any third party plugin that was not bundled with the theme as one of them may be causing a conflict then use the following plugin to delete your WordPress cache:
