Password Protected Page Not Redirecting Correctly

My website martinnwong.com had one page password protected using the built in WordPress Visibility setting and it worked fine a few months ago. I haven’t updated any content since then, but now when I go to the password protected Design Process page and enter the correct password, it displays a blank page with url https://martinnwong.com/wp-login.php?action=postpass but it does not redirect correctly to my /design-process page.

I have tried deactivating all plugins, but the same issue occurs. I have since activated my plugins back.
People need to see that page so I have had to remove the password and made it Public for now, but I’d like to set a password and give it out to people I need to see the page.

Any help would be appreciated.

Good morning Martymar

not sure if this is a theme problem,
Is your page visible in the pages list? please check, sound like the page is not there anymore, to ensure this is not theme problem just activate one of default WordPress theme temporary and check again

Yes, it is listed in the Pages list. It is called Design Process.
When I click on it, it shows the page to edit and on the right side panel in WordPress it shows the “Visibility” setting that I currently have as “Public” but can set it to “Password Protected” and then enter my desired password. However, when I do that, after entering the correct password on the site, it does not redirect me to the page.
Right now I have it set to “Public” so it does not ask for the password, but I’d like to turn it back on to “Password Protected” if it would redirect correctly.

Good evening

Weird, Have you tried to switch the themes?
If even theme deactivation did not help then use this plugin to create temporary access for us, its automatic login link and does not requires sharing your admin details. here is How To guide. at the and don’t forget about  “Set as private reply” at the bottom of the message box

Here is your temp access:

Good morning

have you modified this theme somehow? problem is only happening for our theme

How would I modify the theme?

Good morning

I dont know, have you changed any php files in the theme?

No, I have not changed any PHP files.

Is the password protection able to be fixed for my site using the Colorlib Shapely theme?

Sorry for no answer,
yet i was not able to find the problem, i can’t say this is a theme problem because if you do small research you will find others also have the same problem in the internet with other themes, this seems to be a rare problem and yet no constant solution is available, if this is an urgent question for you my suggestion is to utilize plugin for this before i found something useful for you

What plugin would provide this functionality?

Good morning

Check these plugins:
